It was our most bootleg outing yet. After placing a call to Mike Chojnowski at 8:00 PM, he and I hit the road an hour later, totally spur of the moment and off the cuff, striking out for Philly. The sole purpose? To meet Allison Mack, star of TV's Smallville, who would be meeting and greeting fans the next day at the Wizard Wolrd East Comic Convention.

After driving all night, staying in a random hotel, hyped up on Red Bull and Starbucks, fighting through rain and fog and T-1000's (don't ask)... we eventually made it. And we met Allison. And it was good.
