Wizard World 2002
Behold, the Donald E. Stevens Convention Center, in beautiful Rosemont Illinois! Where True Believers gather in search of comics, toys, autographs, and all the cool shwag they can get their greasy little paws on! (Russ, Mike, and Jeff included!)
We walked inside (after being hassled right and left about whether we had our passes or not), to be greeted with this wonderful sight... a convention hall full of comic book goodness beckoning us onward!
Here's me with one of the first celebs we met at the convention... Lou "The Incredible Hulk" Ferrigno! He was such a nice guy... so nice that he charged $20 for his autograph! We did not question this, for fear that Lou would smash us puny humans. At least I got this picture out of the deal, Mike just got his Trial of the Incredible Hulk DVD cover signed, and got charged the same $20 I did. Hey, so, uh, how's it feel to be replaced by a computer in the new Hulk movie, Mr. Ferrigno?? Oh well, I guess the guy's gotta eat, right?
