What's this? Guest of honor Stan "The Man" Lee, a no show?? We were bummed, but determined to have a good time. It's what Stan would have wanted. (Rumor had it Stan was ill, and his doctor told him he shouldn't fly.)

Speaking of Star Wars, the Empire was present to keep things from getting out of hand. We felt a little bad when fanboys were getting their pictures taken with these guys, and the "Men Behind The Mask" (the guys who were there who actually were in Star Wars) were sitting around twiddling their thumbs. But, we did see David Prowse talking with Lou Ferrigno, so at least he had a friend. (Rumor has it Ferrigno charges Prowse $20 a week to be his friend.)
