Still More Wizard World 2002

One of the coolest parts of the convention was Artist's Alley. Here, you could go up to your favorite artists (or, more often, artists you've never heard of but who have some work out that looks really cool), and ask them to do a sketch for you. Many artists did sketches for free. Some charged, but would usually do something a little more elaborate. Note, the old guy in the center of this picture is the guy who created Green Lantern.

Stephanie Lantry did a really hot Supergirl sketch for me.

See??

Randy Bowen, the guy who does all the cool Marvel statues and mini-busts, was one of the nicest guys at the convention. He really liked to talk about his work, and did sketches for me, Mike, and Jeff. This picture was taken while he was doing a Hulk sketch for me.

HULK SMASH!

I finally managed to get a sketch from the elusive Damion Scott (of Batgirl fame) on the last day of the con, on my third attempt. My persistance paid off, and I got a really nice sketch of Batgirl (sans mask... eat it, fanboys!)

Press on, True Believers!
